Bitbook, with registered office at Watermael-Bosvoorde, Heiligenborre 21, collects and stores personal data of customers who subscribe to our newsletter and sympathizers in function of their own communication.

We undertake to manage this data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations regarding the processing of personal data, including the General Data Protection Regulation, better known by its English abbreviation GDPR.

We only collect personal data that you provide to us yourself. This only concerns contact details, necessary to inform you about our activities or to invite you to participate in these activities. This data will not be made public or passed on to third parties for commercial reasons. We do not collaborate with third parties to process your data. If we were to do this in the future, we will conclude a processing agreement for this and make agreements to guarantee the security of your data.
 
We do not store your personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose for which you provided it, such as, for example, obtaining newsletters. They are kept for a maximum of 5 years after the last use.

Your data will be treated in a secure manner. We have taken technical and organizational measures to appropriately protect your data against unauthorized access, use, loss or disclosure.

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

You can always request your personal data that is in our possession and have any inaccurate or incomplete data corrected. You have the right to be 'forgotten' and therefore to have your data removed.
